Susan McGeachie

Susan McGeachie has 25 years of experience identifying, evaluating, and managing ESG-related risks and strategic positioning opportunities. Following her years in ESG research and analytics, she held leadership positions in banking, management consulting, and engineering firms as the Head of the BMO Climate Institute, Central Market Leader for EY’s Climate Change and Sustainability Services practice, and Global Director of the Climate Change and Sustainability practice at Hatch. Susan is an adjunct professor at the University of Toronto where she teaches a graduate course in climate finance and is a member of the ESG Designation executive education faculty at the Rotman School of Management.

Susan is the founder of Climevest, an intermediary for investments in asset decarbonization and resilience. She also co-founded and is managing partner of the Global Climate Finance Accelerator, a nonprofit that convenes partnerships across academia, business, finance, and government on strategies, policies, procedures, and tools to finance climate solutions. She holds an MBA with a specialization in international finance and sustainability.

Chris Walker

Chris has 25 years of experience galvanizing action to identify, finance, and drive innovative sustainability solutions in the US capital markets. His forte is in financial sector sustainability innovation and stock exchange listing requirements. He has extensive climate tech, decarbonization strategies, ESG investing and reporting, and carbon markets experience focused on innovation, education, and partnerships.

Chris is leading Sales/Business Development for Carbon Capture and Storage pioneer Carbon GeoCapture using coal to permanently store CO2 at scale.

Danielle Comeau

Danielle Comeau, MBA, MHR is a globally experienced sustainability leader. Working across mining, energy, and natural resources sectors she supports small to mid-tier clients with their growth and sustainability strategies. Danielle takes a special interest in environment, social, governance and indigenous equity and partnerships (ESGI), and the importance of building responsible supply chains to de-risk capital projects.
Peter Howard

Peter is a senior project manager and cleantech executive, having spent a career helping organizations understand how climate change translates into financial statement risks and opportunities.
He is a former management consultant for PwC with the Sustainable Business Solutions practice. In that role, he helped clients calculate and manage their operational footprints, including establishing corporate-wide GHG accounting policies, processes, and procedures, developing energy management plans, and implementing data compilation and reporting protocols. From PwC Peter became a Senior Policy Advisor at the Government of Ontario with the mandate to develop Ontario’s emissions trading system.

Peter is the founder of Zfolio, a software company focused on measuring and managing financed emissions, where he helped developed the software from scratch, and lead sales and marketing efforts to financial institutions.

Dr. Cristina Allen

Dr. Cristina Allen is a Naturopathic Doctor with over a decade of experience, owner of lifestyle medicine brand FIELD GUIDE, and co-founding partner of creative consultancy Home Planet. She is a graduate of the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine in Toronto, and has completed additional training in paediatrics and pharmaceutical prescribing certifications.

Dr. Cristina was Chief Product and Culture Officer for one of Ontario’s first independent chains of cannabis dispensaries and over ten years has contributed to shaping the new field of cannabis as medicine, retail, and its sustainability.

Through her diverse experiences, Dr. Cristina co-founded HOME PLANET, a full-service creative consultancy that celebrates new perspectives around inclusive, regenerative, and circular economies by collaborating with brands to develop holistic strategies that cultivate customer centric transformation. She provides workshops and speaks on the impacts of climate change on health, permaculture, seasonal and healthful eating, and foraging wild Ontario.

Alexander Blair

Alex advocates on behalf of clients before lawmakers and regulators on issues including financial services, agriculture, trade and emerging climate technologies. He was closely engaged in developing and advocating for key industrial decarbonization provisions in the Inflation Reduction Act of 2022 and the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act of 2021. He also maintains a strong understanding of the European policy landscape with respect to climate, agriculture, and trade issues. He has represented clients at agriculture, ESG, and climate forums across Europe and the United States.

Alex serves as Policy Director at Corcoran Street Group, a lobbying and public affairs firm based in Washington, D.C. He leads the firm’s sustainable finance and climate practices.

David Delves

David is an engineer and senior business leader with over 30 years of experience in project management, product development, technology commercialization and corporate venturing. Most recently, David was a Project Director at Hatch, leading client engagements in the areas of mineral processing, automation, machinery design, EV technology development, and renewable power integration and energy storage. Prior to this role, David was Technologies Manager at Hatch, where he led the integration of distributed energy resources into mine site power systems and remote community microgrids in multiple jurisdictions around the world, development of microgrid controls solutions, and investigations in energy saving comminution technologies from concept and justification through to implementation. David’s experience spans the globe, with a particular focus on North America, Europe, Middle East, and Africa.

Alex leverages her background in investment analysis, corporate strategy, and sustainability to offer consulting services to clients in the mining, metals and energy sectors. Alex has held notable roles across Canada and Australia. Most recently, she was an M&A Business Analyst with Newcrest Mining in Melbourne, Australia. Earlier in her career, Alex was a Metals & Mining Equity Research Associate at National Bank Financial and later joined the Ontario Teachers’ Pension Plan Board as an Infrastructure & Natural Resources Investment Analyst.

Alex is the founder and CEO of Scope Zero Solutions, which provides consulting services to clients in the mining, metals and energy sectors. She holds a Bachelor of Mining Engineering from McGill University, is an MBA Candidate at the University of Toronto and is a CFA Charterholder.

Dinah Koehler has over 25 years of experience leading corporate environmental programs, developing ESG and impact measurement systems in the public and private sectors and advising international development banks and national governments on sustainability strategy. Trained in environmental risk assessment, she has analyzed and published on the impacts of industrial activity on human health and the environment, including risks related to air pollution, water, toxic chemicals and climate change. Throughout her career Dinah developed award-winning science-based analytic tools to assess corporate sustainability performance, risks and opportunities.

Heather Langsner

Holding a Master‘s Degree in Environmental Sciences and Industrial Engineering at Columbia University, Heather Langsner is a carbon analytics professional with experience in carbon inventory analysis, carbon reporting, carbon displacement analysis, carbon finance, renewable energy financial modelling, corporate decarbonization for compliance and life cycle analysis. Currently pursuing a second Master’s in Chemical Engineering for carbon management at Columbia University, Heather also holds an LCA certification from MIT.

Katharine is an expert in stakeholder dialogue and communications, using tools designed to promote comprehensive program support from a broad range of stakeholders, including materiality analysis for sustainability reporters.

Lida Preyma

Lida brings over 25 years of experience in Canadian capital markets. Her experience includes transforming and aligning global policy for a major Canadian bank’s capital markets AML programme; developing and implementing a global AML risk management programme; and delivering on strategic initiatives which included co-leading the integration for capital markets of a multibillion-dollar US bank acquisition. She was also managing director of corporate citizenship at Magna International.
